dev compiling question

Developers mailing list
I am not a dev, please be forgiving.

Compiling last gimp dev version with master babl/gegl gives me this
message and it does not start anymore:

====

GEGL operation missing!

GIMP requires the GEGL operation "gegl:component-extract".
This operation cannot be found. Check your
GEGL install and ensure it has been compiled
with any dependencies required for GIMP.

====

Any hint?

I bet I committed something stupid (as usual) but I cannot figure it out...

Did you use "commit" in its generic meaning of "done", or did you commit
changes to your local source tree?

In a nutshell, you didn't build with --enable-workshop, and your build
of gegl is not too recent.

yes in the general meaning of "done something wrong" ;-)

I compiled, as you may have read, always with master versions of babl/gegl.
Last git update of gegl resolved thought, without touching the installed
GIMP (without --enable-workshop btw...)

To sum up, now it works, many thanks!
