Blown out highlights (color)

Richard-118
have a flower pic, that has beautiful color & detail,
however, a small part of the flower, has a real nasty
color highlight spot, that is blowout. ( Sun was behind the flower durning
capture.)

is there a way to select ³only² the blown out highlight color area
or color pixel?, and tone it down some.

Thanks -
Rick
